This was the first of two shows (the second is in April) and was a research performance to try out lots of ideas for the big finale in April 2012.

The Police Station was transformed as if by magic into a 1940s style Log Room, where a group of scientists had accidentally torn ruptures in the timeline of Gunwharf Quays while they were playing with time causing history to explode back to life all around them.

The audience, who were enlisted as Professors, Doctors, Engineers, Surgeons and Inspectors, were gathered for a briefing before setting off around the site with one of the science team to see where the ruptures were happening and to fix them.

There saw the women from home dancing for the men to come back, launched their own sails off to sea, heard the voices of the past, watched divers and met Admiral Vernon himself, and ended at the plaza which was transformed into an installation of sound, light and the orary which unearthed the story of Commander Crabbe.

It was a very exciting event, and we had a sold out show which the good people of Portsmouth all seemed to enjoy! Hoorah and on to the next in April - keep your eyes peeled for photos and opportunities to get involved coming soon...
